Default sti intercooler/remap??

Hi i was considering fitting a sti intercooler/scoop to my newage wrx will it need to be remapped everything else is standard apart from the panel filter thanks for any help

No need mate. You're not doing a performance mod as such. More of a safety mod as was described to me

..although a remap will normally allow for a couple more degrees of timing to be added, and make a little more power than on the WRX intercooler.

i just fitted one to my MY03 wrx with vf28 and 550's, it allowed duncan (racedynamix) to go from 1.3 to 1.42bar and add a couple extra degrees of timing while keepin it very safe map. was about 320/290, now we believe its about 330/300, not much more but it made it feel quite different, needless to say it was worth the £110 i payed for it
