Default spraying side skirts and spats + front splitter???

i know alot of you have done this im planning on doing it d.i.y is there a special paint for the (plastic spats and skirts)

or just normal car spraypaint.

Some people use a plasticiser to allow the paint to flex on plastic surfaces, you can buy it from any decent paint supplier......

is that an undercoat or paint? and how flexible is it as my front splitter is very flexible till bolted in place

You put it in with your final topcoat...
If the prep and colour coats are applied correctly you wont have any problems with the paints flexability.....

You put it in with your final topcoat...
does that mean i have to mix it in with the black paint i want to use or apply it as a finish coat before lacquer??


i did my arb's a while ago 2 coats of undercoat, 3 finish coats and 2 lacquer coats is this the same process?

any tips appreciated

Exactly the same process how you would normally paint the plasticizer is translucent.
Put it in your laquer mix...
The bottle should tell you exactly how much to put in.
If in any doubt just ask your paint supplier for a basic how to guide.

good advice from above also good to use a plastic primer/ base coat to allow better adhesion to the plastic fella
