Does anyone know of any fun roads to drive in the north yorkshire area? somewhere to get used to the handling and build up confidence driving my new scooby?

 

B1248, B1257 and A170.

Great route between Hull and Thirsk. Straights, twisties and a 1 in 3 hill

 

A68... but thats abit further north

 

All of them... I love the B1248 too ! ! used to have driving lessons up there back in the 70's

P.S. Get North of Whitby onto the top of the Moors, some superb stretches, and don't forget the North Pennines too !

Depends were you are in Yorkshire. Horton to Ribblehead and over Buttertubs etc and back to Skipton, the guys on LADS do it every year.
