after hours of searching on the net the best qoute i got for my smart was 940 for the year bear in mind four years no claims, im 28, no convictions, and the car will be garaged oh and i have three points.

after speaking to gary he ran a quick qoute for me in a subaru and it came up a lot cheaper?? so i guess im in the market for another subaru anyone wants to part x a smart cabriloet 03 for a newage plus cash your way drop me a pm

what year does the high tax bracket start in newages??????

Think it's after 2006 that the tax is massive. Between 2001 and 2006 (march respectively) the price is still greater than the equivalent pre 2001 cars.

My WRX PPP is £375 with full NC, my 600cc Smart is £200 with 1 year NC. Scoob is garaged, Smart is not.

i had the smart insured for around 350 last year with gary but this year all seems well over a thousand.

is tax higher on jdm models and how much approx?

Insurance makes no sense to me.

Asked Gary for some quotes on scoobs today. However, I'm also considering getting a brand new Clio Cup on finance.

I currently have a Jeep Cherokee which laughably is Grp 17 and costs me £314 TPFT!!

The Clio Cup is worth more than 10 times the Jeep yet the Clio is £250 FC.

JDm road tax depends on year & or whether it was registered as PLG, with no Co2 rating.

Brand New Hatch STi 330 for £1150,
Hawk WRX is £2.2k!?!?!?

On a side note, New Saab 9-3 2.8ltr TT v6 with Hirsch was £1700.

All just seems arbitary numbers and follows no logic what so ever.

according to gary insurance for scoobies is cheaper because we are carefull drivers we dont use the scoobs everyday. and there isnt much accidents involving scoobs unless there faitalities.
