Default Power Steering Problem?

My steering feels really light and doesn't really inspire confidence when driving at 30MPH +

Could this be down to a tech fault or something daft like power steering fluid etc?

Didn't think of that?!

But I think they are normal 32 front and 30 rear - unless this is wrong?

Car is a standard Bugeye WRX - what should they be?

If it's not the tyre pressures what else could it be?

Is this a problem that has always been there or has just happened?

it's happened a while ago but because the car has been offroad for a while I can't remember when exactly. - don't think it coincides with a new set of alloys and tyres but even if it did, couldn't imagine them making that much of a difference?
