Water in Jack/Wheel brace well.
Car is a 1999 T Impreza Turbo Wagon.
Today i noticed water at the bottom of the compartment in the boot where the jack etc is kept.
The boot/spare wheel well is bone dry so i doubt its coming via rear screen light cluster etc.
So i guess it might be coming from underneath somewhere.
Anyone come across this before and whats the fix.
I was thinking of locating the bottom of the well from underneath and drilling a drain hole then at least it wont hold.
Thanks in advance.

Similar situation on my type r a few years ago ,inside the compartement where the jack is stored there is a square vent with flaps on it to the rear arch ,(it's like a grill on the outside of a wall for a vent fan) water was coming in through the grill ,probebly from water spray under the rear arch just a thought .

Many thanks for all the suggestions.
Took the light cluster off today. Cleaned it all up and resealed it.
Jump in boot later and have a hosepipe doing the necessary and see if i can spot anything.
