The ad is actually wrong as the cambelt was done at 52k according the dealer who serviced the car.

Looks like a clean example, The only thing I can see that has been changed are the side markers (orange when left the factory, now carbon). Mudflaps look like genuine Prodrive ones, shockingly expensive to buy so likely a good sign that someone was willing to spend money on it

The car has indeed had a ton of money spent on it. I spoke with Subaru and the previous owner even had them fit tyres to the car which is normally a sign people are happy to spend cash on the car. It's also got an almost new back box fitted from the dealer, the last bill was for around £2000.
I'm just waiting for an email to confirm all the history and the deal I've negotiated but as it stands the car is as follows;
Full Subaru history with 9 stamps with another to be done before collection.
1 previous owner
12 months MOT
Tax until April '11
3 months warranty
The dealer is also happy for me to speak to the previous owner which gives me some confidence that they are reasonably honest. The only thing that I am slightly wary of is the mileage, but I'd rather invest my cash in a car that's got a slightly higher mileage but extensive history, than a car with low miles but limited history.
