Saw an ad for these in the Auto Express.

I'm surprised no-one has tried this alloy wheel protector?
On the face of it, it's not a bad idea! Bit concerned that in fast cornering with tyre distortion, it might pop out!

it says an hour to fit all 4 - maybe the tyres have to come off, thus stopping it from coming seperated from the alloy?? Good idea though

They look OK, and fitting is done with the tyres ON but deflated.

£50 for 4 pieces of plastic inc P&P though.............

Yes there was a post recently with photo's on here- do a search. They looked **** in my opinion.

Just done a search but failing to turn up. The scoob in question had dark wheels with red 'alloy gaitors' on it. Just looked odd imo, why just not learn how to park with out hitting kerb in the first place?

Would probably consider them if i had just spent 100's on a nice set of alloys.

In black of course, unless you have the under-car neons to match.
