Can i just change the normal STI gear **** to anything ? or is there a set thing i need to follow, ie Thread width etc, I presume i just screw it off ?

In my WRX-S i had a MOMO 1 as standard quite liked that one, The new STI one is ok but looks too Normal.

Anybody help and reccomend anything other than momo thats nice

Depends if it has lift reverse. Buy one that will allow that, otherwise, virtually any will fit.

If your **** is the same as mine (ooh err missus) ie yours is the same as a newage bug, blob or hawk then get a STi RA-R one from Litchfield Imports for around £40 inc postage.

I personally don't like the Prodrive gear **** and removed one from my Spec C, the STi one I bought has a little STi logo on it plus the gear positions, it's a little different and a genuine STi accessory.
