Default how much is allowed

ok can someone clear this up for me the 2.5lt sti engine with standard internals what are the tolerances with regards to power level allowed before going forged, my mate is shouting 430/410 that it will take i beg to differ i would say less.

They can all take difrent amounts. its how you drive it. if it on the drag strip every week it would have a short life but if it was used for a fast rd car it would last alot longer.there is plenty of cars running 430 on standard internals. good servicing help to.

the higher you go, the more reliability you sacrifice. i have been told 400/400 is pretty much your limit, any more and you are asking for trouble. as said above, good servicing is of great importance also.
