You get hit with import tax of £100+ on top of that.
I got charged £88 import tax for a black centre console.

Yeah just ask mate, I asked a company in America about tax and duty on some carbon parts I'm looking at and they said they would send as low value gift so worth an email. Will be interested to know his you get on as I fancy getting one myself.

£300 seems a little steep to fit, only really a couple of hours work plus the spraying of the vent

There are a few down the south east as well, it's really quite easy, it's just having the nerve to cut your roof up, rest is just being uber careful with measurements. There is a write up on here for fitting on a new age car, I'll see if I've still got the link

I don't charge anywhere near £300 for fitting. Call me on 07946 467798 and I'll be more than happy to fit for you.

I've done a fair few of these now, have all the tools and assure you a factory fit item.

No problem Banny. I'm down in Essex not far from Chelmsford. If you guys get the kits I'm more than happy to fit for you guys. I've always used japanparts for kits. Always nicer having a brand new kit to fit.
Call me to discuss if need be. Always happy to help

Banny i'm up for a drive down. His fitting price is half of what i expected practically! Well worth it. Probs better for you as classic flaps are usually a little cheaper. anyone know how long they take for delivery from japan parts?

KevinST- - is your kit for a newage or classic? wanna sell me it? your local lol :P

It is more expensive than the newage one @ £380 could get a 2nd hand one for £200 but would still need the roof lining.

Banny, you don't need the lining. The stock one gets cut to suit.

Yes mate, completely different shape and fittings inside the car. The bracketry for each is specific to each model and cannot be interchanged.

If you have a classic, buy a classic and vise versa. They WILL NOT fit one another.

Sorry
