01 bugeye ,ive been searching to see why my cel isnt working and found a white plug which isnt connected ,it is situated to the right of the drivers foot well under the plastic trim .
it has one wire going into each connector .
i connected them together and nothing happened ,just wondering if anyone knows what they are ?

i also have a similar one behind the steering rack but only one end and cant see the other end

The connectors behind the driverside kick panel is part of the Keyless Entry system and is the "Code Entry Connector". They are left disconnected in normal use.
