Default Please identify my car

Hi people am looking at buying a few bits for my car, i understand it is a phase 1.5 as it has the one central coil pack, facelift interior and the prefacelift the registration mark is S (98).When i look at website they say its a v1-v2 etc etc. Am just after a bit of advice from the people in the know to save me buying twice.

Thanks Mike

Uk or JDM? STI or WRX??
Vin plate is where the information is, we need the first part of your vin number (first 7 or 8 digits) or look on the sidc website under faq's, models

Then its an MY98 UK turbo 2000.
Simples
Only JDM STI's are versions (between 2-6, after that they stopped the numbering).

V4

From the classics I have seen.....

V1/2 has prefacelift interior and prefacelift exterior
V3 has partial facelift exterior and prefacelift interior
V4 has partial facelift exterior and facelift interior
V5 has facelift exterior and facelift interior

IIRC

Its not a version, its just a confusion try ordering lower arms for a my98 uk car, then order the same for a version 4 sti, they are different, hence we stick to my or version for classic sti's
