200+ Scoobs In One Place! EvidenceOf The Really Big One!
#1
I think that there's over 200 of us who'd like to give a big THANK YOU to Gridlock Mikey for organising this
Being totally sad, I went and counted the number of Imprezas and it was about spot on 200 + other assorted vehicles probably totalled 240
Here are some "crowd" shots ( ) just to give other bbs'ers an idea of what it was like
Respect to this young lad
& just proving it was a familly day out - a pic of Ez having a great time
Thanks Mikey

Just wanted to add my thanks too, well organised, good crowd, perfect location and perfect weather.
Thanks too to Richard (Bitten Hero) for organising the Northampton people and sorting the mapped route for us, hope your car can be mended as painlessly as possible.
Nice meeting the people I've been speaking to/waving at!
All the best, Sean.

WAHOO! Just about come down from what was a great day out...
...great pic's Puff, you can even see my Scoob - 8th pic down, left hand row fourth Scoob from the front
Mikey - great day out, thanks alot...
Good to meet some new people as I only knew a couple there, loved me cruise over from Toddington, especially the 60mile cross country route even though we were leading and lasted about 2 miles before getting lost! Our little band of four still got there before the others though (heheee - especially Feathers who thought he was clever having a special device on his car that changes traffic lights to red.. ).
Disco & MATTel (hehe, Subaru's action man ); sorry we couldn't flash goodbye on the M1, an annoying Astra cut in front as we were leaving at Junction 15a to avoid the M25 on the way to Southampton...good to follow you down there a bit anyway, hope you got home ok.
Jen (and Chris)
Edited to say: Barry and Lynne (sp?) can I have another look at the P1 tomorrow?! It was

Thanks to all again, esp. Mikey and the Notts crew.
Great day out, and happy that once again the MR2 surprised a few of you Scoob owners (eh Nikko? )
Not so happy that I have sun stroke I have GOT to get my skin used to the sun somehow.

And another vote of thanks to Mikey!
Great turnout, great weather & great roads (& great big lunch )
Special mentions to:
Richard Gledhill - spent many an hour doing pace notes for our run up from Northamptonshire & certainly didn't deserve his contra temps with a fence
Colin & Jamie - a right double act as usual!
Phil - thanks for the Big One sticker (but no thanks to Colin for buying the last Scoobynet sticker )
So when's the next one??
Hugh

And so say all of us!
Brillient day out. Good to meet old friends and new faces.
Thanks, Mikey. All the effort was definitely worthwhile.

Puff,

Still gutted I could not be there (in USA at the moment - again! )
Roll on the next one.
Edited to say:
Well done to Gridlock for sorting this out, I know that organising a small affiar is bad enough, but this must have been a right 'mare. Top marks that man!

First time I've been to a meet like this, enjoyed it very much. Nice to see some photos, I forgot my camera.
Thanks Mikey for organising it.
