Default What pads for PF discs?

Having just bought a set of Performance Friction discs I need some pads. What are the best pads to go with them for fast road only?

Cheers

Performance Friction Z Compound (PF.11) or better still, the New EBC Bluestuff NDX Compound

We run the Bluestuff on our car here and prefer them to the PFs.

Also, be careful if using standard type pads with the PF disks, mine now have bad judder when they have some heat in them. Only happened since the standard pads went on.

The Z compound are great, but beware, they need heat in them to work, if you have to hit the breaks in emergency on a cold day, you are at risk IMHO of course.

I use Hawk ceramic.
They're big on the Honda scene and i had them on my Integra DC5. Good for fast road and the odd track. Much better than RED stuff IMHO.
Not used BLUE stuff so cant comment. Just speaking from personal expereince.

I stock PF , Ferodo's and the new bluestuff pads , out of the three , the bluestuff would be my choice , they work so much better from cold , and with normal driving , and when driving hard just keep working and working , they are priced inbetween the other two.

You could use any pad with any disc , the pads are the most important component to suit YOUR style of driving.

Give me a ring for the best deals , available from scoobynets number 1 ranked brake specialist

Cheers Ian
