The actual stamp on both blocks actually both say EJ25. I could take pictures of the block I got, it says EJ25 on the stamp. Above the stamp it says b25c with 701 under it. It's the STI block you can tell, because the STI block has a semi closed deck.

I copied and pasted this info i found above can anyone confirm this please as i will be well chuffed if its the early sti block as duncan from race dynamics is coming to fit a new simtec and remap for me .
