Default 2011 WRX

Is there going to be one?

The WRX Sti looks great. Even the 4 door looks good now that they have ditched the rear spoiler but £33k + metallic paint and Sat Nav extra (£2.5k no doubt). Presumably it still has the flakey engine too.

I hate the thought that I have bought my last Subaru.

What I mean is there used to be a WRX and an Sti.

The new car is an Sti.
I assume that the fact that they have tagged the letters WRX onto its name means that there will be no stand alone WRX.
I guess that they couldn't make an emissions friendly WRX so Subaru UK have decided that only Sti customers will be prepared to pay the running costs. They're probably right. It's a shame to see Subaru limiting their already diminishing market further.

Or they could be waiting to bring the WRX out with the new direct injection low emission engine installed.

I know it's a while off but it may be what their planning.
