Default Highest mileage on a Hawk

As per the title really, who's got a lot of miles on there STI or WRX and how's it coping with it ?

Am running a 57 plate GB270 with 59,800 on it and am thinking about chopping it in for a TDI VRS Octavia

Regards

Nige

95k is that on standard internals and is it a STI or WRX ?

Before the GB270 I owned the petrol version of the VRS and it never missed a beat so that's why I thought about looking at the TDI version.

Very long waiting list though for a new one something like 4-6 months !!

To say it's no fun I think is a bit harsh. I could regularly get mine out of shape on roundabouts drifting it nicely through the bends. Again though it does not compare to a Impreza in fact that's why I bought one

Now the wife wants me to get something normal and grow up as am 44 lol !!!

Yep agree, it does so many things so well that you don’t feel the speed etc 80 mph with the cruise control set feels like 50 compared to the Subaru that sounds like a fighter plane. I am sure you would miss the Subaru but it did feel great on a road trip around France last week to keep driving past fuel stations.
