Flat battery and a common problem. You may need a new better battery. What year car is it?

flat battery

Car immobilizers drain the battery over time, that coupled with colder mornings and a tired battery = it goes flat quicker

Calcium battery from Halfords is just over £80 with four year guarantee. If you hadn't left the car standing for a long time then sounds like battery may be fooked or on the way to being fooked. Trickle charger also worth considering to keep it topped up.

Or nearer £60 if you know someone with a trade account

Can't fault the Halfords clacium batteries, my car will quite happily sit for several weeks and then start first time, every time, since I fitted one of these.
