Default Type-R worth in parts?

Hello, I'm new here! Currently have a Honda Integra and thinking about switching to an Impreza. I don't know a whole lot about Subarus but my mate is selling his lightly damaged V3 (I think) Type-R and I was thinking about buying it and maybe re-shelling it or using some bits and then selling off any bits I have lefts over. Would someone be kind enough to tell me rough breakdown of how much the parts are worth?(engine, gearbox, dccd, turbo, driveshafts, ECU, dash bits, other interiors bits etc)

Thanks!

Some idea of the mileage and pre accident condition would be handy oh hello and welcome

What's 'lightly damaged' mean?

Hello, thanks for the welcome

It's had a front ender, headlight/wing/bonnet/slam panel. Might be worth repairing, I'm just checking to see if it's worth my while. Good condition pre-accident, couple of scratches but was running fine with about 90k on the clock.

I notice that fully working Type-R's are going for 3.5k on ebay:

Does that seem about right?

Yes..... well all those mods and a UK backbox on it..... STI's like the type R had a single round STI exhaust, so I would be wondering about that one straight away!

The OP asks how much a type r is worth and posts a link to a car for 3.5k. People give opinions that they are worth more than 3.5k...then...the price of the car in the link mysteriously goes up...

No doubt the OP actually owns the car!

Hi Tony, thanks for trying to keep this on topic

I'm still learning about Subarus - I was under the impression that all 2 doors were Type-Rs (or P1's). Is that correct?

Is my ebay broken or something? I saw it last night for 3.8k (with "best offer" available). Now it says sold for 3.5k so I assumed someone made an offer of 3.5k and it got accepted. This is what I see:

Anyway who cares, all I really want to know is how much one of these is worth in parts, not as a whole
