Looking to fit these guages
Has anyone used or had any experience of these guages?

I have these exact gauges, oil pressure and boost (bar), easy to wire up, and have a port in the back to provide extra power to another gauge.
Depending on what gauges you go for, you need to put the correct hardware onto the engine, the oil pressure does not come with a T-piece so you can run the gauge and the OE light, so you will need that.
Great products, cant recommend them highly enough!

No, I suppose not, the problems happen when you try and use LEDs, (you need a special type made for instrument illumination), or, heaven forbid, you start changing the background to the clocks. If I had a £1 for everyone I've seen on here with problems of one sort or another after attempting that little manoeuvre.........

The sender that comes in the box for these gauges is fairly chunky, im not entirely sure it will fit between the head and the alternator, so a take off pipe would be a better bet.
Unless of course you go and buy a sandwich plate adaptor.
Oh and if you get a oil temp gauge, the T-piece is handy..

I bought the super white (with beep) series gauges from R-Spec.
Flippinng annoying screech on the start up symphony, then erratic readings from both boost and oil pressure... finally resulting in the oil pressure reading 0.1bar (and sounding alarm) on warm tickover... which (after scaring the life out of me) was obviously total rubbish, so I took them out and fitted Defi's.
The R-spec oil filter sandwich plate also comes with a c*#p o ring, which resulted in a significant "drip" after 50 or so miles, I had it replaced with an OEM o'ring and it's been fine since.

Well true.

I can't comment on the sender for these gauges, but my Defi sender went in the OE o/p sender tapping no probs.

Was looking at using this nifty bit of kit to take the readings from the blanked cylinder 3 plug. It'll allow you to take oil pressure and temp from there then. Not too fussed on the sandwich plate idea.
