TWIN TURBO WRX STI ??
#1
My uncle/mechanic has the chance to buy a silver,4door MY1998 twin turbo 310bhp,gold 7 spoke alloys(£2000 allegedly),any body know what it's worth? I remember seeing a photo of a show car in Australia in one of the Japanese type magazines . Any information on this beast would be much appreciated.

Sorry to say it but it has been proven on the BBS that there is no such thing as a twin turbo impreza factory car apart from someone or a tunning co. putting an engine from a Legacy twin turbo themselves into an impreza which would be quite impossible.
Usually it is dealers who dont know anything about Scooby's that say these things so be very very aware (is it white?)

If you have an STi Mal could you not go around with you Uncle in your car and compare engines and take it for a drive and compare the so called 310bhp...
Personally it sounds like a dealer (from home) no knowing what he has got and just copied another wrong advert etc..
MY98 are what 9 to 12K depending on whether you want to pay through the nose, mileage etc. etc.. IMHO... paid 8.3K for a MY96
