Question help needed pls

hi as you can prob tell from the user name im not lucky enough to own one myself however my brother in law does. hes currently out in afghan, ive now got the task of getting his impreza estate bk on the road for when his tours over. im trying to get front and rear discs and pads, cambelt kit, oil n filter as a base to get it back on the road and in for an mot. its a 55 reg gx sport estate im struggling to find the right parts as ppl keep telling me there's loads of diff types and the only place that will commit to saying theyve got the right stuff want £450 for the above. is this right??? seems a bit steep for parts??? or is it normal prices for these??? any help or advice i would be very much grateful for.
