Default Howd that get there

I thought my i had bust a CV joint or driveshaft, due to a loud clunking noise after i did a hard launch. I got it up on a car lift at a local garage, and the mechanic found this massive steel billet laying on the front passenger side drive shaft

Yer i was thinking that it could be sabotage, but mind you i did go through a flood in tenby last week. So could have got up there when i went through the water n had been disturbed by the launch.... Nothing is damaged the drive shaft was preaty warm, and the CV boot on the gearbox side had its metal cable tie come off. But the mechanic put another cable tie on it n bobs your uncle... no apparent damage, appart from that the driveshaft is abit scuffed.

True... hmm odd indeed... i will have to hook a couple of batterys to the cars chassis so anyone who touches whilst its parked alone gets electrocuted.
