Default vauxhall combo engine problem

Hi

I have a vauxhall combo van which i use for my work, which has a 1.7 diesel iveco engine.

Somehow the crankshaft thrust washers have fallen out, i found these mangled in the bottom of the sump. This is the 1st time ive ever done any work on an engine so its all new to me, but im quite handy with spanners so im happy trying to fix it.

Ive got new washers but im struggling to figure out where they go, and how they are held in place, ive also replaced the crankshaft bearings, as the old ones are scored badly, i know the crank should really be ground but im trying to do this cheap as possible and just get my van back on the road.

Im hoping there is a vauxhall mechanic on here who can help, but any info will be a great help.

Thanks Tristan
