Hey everyone, im after a decat downpipe for my rb5 standard turbo and was wondering why some have different ends which attach to the turbo? i.e some are open neck n some have 2 holes and ive seen 1 with a 1 small hole. Would a downpipe with 2 holes be ok for my car or do i need an open mouth pipe or are they pretty much all the same?
Cheers Dean

- One small hole = most restrictive.
- Two Pipes joining to one = ok, much less restrictive
- Bellmouth one = no restriction, gives optimal flow!
All do the same job, but go for either of the last two if poss

Because you have both, exhaust and wastegate gases to get rid of via the exhaust system they have to mix/collide at some point which causes a restiction.(Unless you fit a seperate 'screecher pipe')
