Thats quite good mate, 320 miles divided by 10 gallon = 32mpg and you say you have some fuel left, so could work out 35mpg which has never been known, especially with blast at 100mph. Are you sure youve reset your trip from the last time....

I have just been from Nottingham to North Wales for a few days, had a run round and through the mountains etc and encompassed both town driving and some ....ahem....faster driving and returned the following :

486 miles
85.8 litres (18.89 gallons)(£100.33)

MPG : 25.73.

I really don't see why people complain about the mpg of our cars.

They are mostly running at 250-350bhp, so mid 20s isn't bad.

I've tried loads of other "performance" cars and they all do about the same: Focus ST, Civic TypeR, Leon Cupra etc.

The thread this week about the 350Z said that you only get 22mpg from them.

Some say mpg doesn't matter, but of course it does; we wouldn't keep them if they did 5mpg, but there aren't many cars like it that can do much better.

Speaking to Focus RS owners, they get through tyres every 5k. That costs almost as much as the fuel!

Normally mine is 23ish and I don't bother working it out, but on a good run consisting of mostly motorway speeds recently for most of the tank, i got 318miles on a remapped 05 STi, which is 29mpg.
