JASON PLATO in a new Jaguar XK-R Convertible Oxford
I was walking around Oxford this weekend with my wife on Sunday. I spotted Jason Plato in a new Jaguar XK-R Convertible in a queue of traffic.The car looked abosolutely superb 
I couldn't see any film crew or Cameras. He did have a young child in the passenger seat so assumed it he was just on a social trip out.
I was going to take some pictures but thought that was a bit intruusive, so gave him a big wave instead

I was working down in high wycombe about 14 weeks ago trundling down the M40 in my van when i looked in the mirror and saw a porsche fast approaching knew from the number plate it was him P1ATO,he pulled along side of me as the traffic slowed him down so as i looked across gave him a smile and waved he didnt acknowledge at all so got him on video doing in excess of 140mph couldnt catch him as i was only in a small van what a **** for not even smiling and acknowleging me who does he think he is anyway ,he may be a good driver but certainly not a nice person.

youve obviously not met many so called famous people then ,have you never smiled at someone just to be polite and to make someone feel at ease with you ,i smiled at him for that reason and for me to show him a little respect for who he was and got nothing in return not even a nod of the head arogant **** if you ask me.

I met him at 2008 brands WTCC he was there as a "PR" for SEAT.
He was with another seat driver hid between some Transporters. I asked him politely if I could Photograph him with my mate Phone but we realised they were eating. We said sorry for disturbing thier lunch and we went to walk off. But he called us back couldn't have been any nicer
even spoke to my mates Partner on his phone I also spoke to him at either Goodwood or Autosport show and found him very friendly.

i suppose you shouldnt take people on face value but come on on/off day its only a wave...for god sake, wasnt asking of much and i didnt see him eating anything while driving.....

Plato is a true c o k. When i took the mugen rr to milbrook to be reviewed by 5th gear he didn't even look at us once. He come over and took the keys thrashed the car round the track and just give us the keys at the end. Would'nt mind if he was a super star ,but he's only a touring car driver and presents 5th gear. What a N-o-b!!

He's paid to drive fast and present a motoring program, not be nice to every random who see's him in the street.
If I had every tom dick and Tony waving and smiling at me as if I knew them from Adam, I'd just get to a point of ignoring them too... It's not as if he's gon on BB to say "look at me" is it?
