Question - Insurance for second project car
Is there a cheap way to insure a second project car? I used to have 2 sets of full no claims bonus but I didn't realise I should have swapped the NCB over every year when I dropped to one car so I have lost the second NCB (about 10+ years ago now)
I already run a reasonably well modified Impreza (Classic 2.5, MD321T, 6 speed, coil overs etc) and want to keep it as my daily driver. I want to do another Classic (extra light weight) Impreza and take it a bit further power wise.
I'm paying £710 protected on my current car and they say a second car of similar spec would be another £1000 or so...
Does this sound reasonable? The above doesn't include track cover.

Some insurers if you have had a good realtionship with them will give you an introductory full NCB on a second policy. Aviva are one of them - my CTR is insured with them and they put the Scoob on a second policy for £410 with full protected NCB.
