Default Spark plugs for the 2.5 engine

I need some new plugs for my 2.5 WRX but to be slightly awkward I am running LPG.

The standard plugs for the 2.5 are the NGK ILFR6B which have a thread of 26.5mm but I didn't know that until today when I tried to have some NGK BKR6EIX-LPG fitted which have a thread length of 19mm.

I have been advised not to have the standard ones in as they have platinum in which the LPG doesn't like, apparently the LPG prefers your bog standard copper plugs

My question is what other plugs are available for the 2.5 as the few motor factors that I've been to this morning only know about the NGK's?

I can use the standard ones if that's all thats available but I will have to change them more regularly which is not the end of the world but it's not ideal.

Other than running LPG the engine is completely standard.

Any help would be appreciated.

Stick with the NGK ILFR6B but you must gap these to 0.6mm for it to run correctly with the LPG. & before anyone pipes up and says you shouldnt gap iridium plugs then you have to with LPG otherwise it can cause the odd missfire

had a few Legacy's in with the H6 engine in that missfire under load and it was down to incorrect gaps.
