Default Injectors question....

Hi guys...

Basically i have been on the lookout for a set of 550s for my scoobs, and as of yet all i seem to have come across were mainly 440s and higher cc ones like 765s and 650s etc etc

now today i see a set up for sale that have been tested and are 505s???? I dint even know there was such a thing!!!LoL...

So my question is are these for real(505s)??? and why then are they 505s rather than the more common 440s, 550s etc????

Sorry to sound a complete newbie btw!!ha...

You can get phase 2 550's to fit with an adapter kit from Carl Davy.

On another note it's good to see that there is another WR1 blue classic out there

Do you know what phase they are? There are so many different injectors out there, my sister bought some 550's thinking they were Subaru ones because they came out of a Subaru but they were Mazda RX7 555's with an adapter kit. Personally I would stick to phase 2 550's with the collars because you know what they are.

I thought there was only 1 in that colour lol, mine has the wheels to match and I've been wondering what else would look right with that colour but I am restricted because mine also runs the WR1 brembos.

The flow rate should be qualified at what pressure the test was carried out at.
505 to 550 cc/min is the difference between testing at 3 and 3.5 bar and they may be the same injector.

Thanks for everyones replies so far...

and Yes apperently they have just been tested and all working fine at 505cc??? So they may be 550s but just tested at 3bar and thus the reading of 505cc, is that what you mean butty???...

ill look into it and see what i can find out...

y is it not the case that every tester uses like the same pressure though??? (i.e 3bar rather than 3.5???)
surely it just makes things confusing like now though right? Or is it just me being a thicko??lol
