No, my steering rack boot hasn't been knicked.
However, I have never felt more like a victim of mugging in my life.
I can get a steering rack boot for my classic scoob online for 6 quid delivered. Yet i needed one today so had to pay my local Subaru stealer a visit. Including vat I've had to fork out nearly 38 quid for a part that would've cost 6 if I'd had time on my side.

Seriously got that mugged feeling

I have a spare rack with the boots split, and wouldn`t mind sorting them out.

Fecking stealers, i was robbed of £38.00+VAT for a bottom rad hose for my Pug 406 sh*tbox. The hose was in three parts, one cast alloy section of around and around 10 inches long. No-one else made/sold them except Pug as i checked and checked.

I must have cost all of a fiver to produce.

Throttle cable for a mk 1 MR2 - ten years ago was 70.00 - again only available from a stealership!
