Default something different

after buying my blob sti 4 months ago been trying to make it look a bit different to other sti s,
decided to fit front fog light kit and paint wheels anthracite. looks good and a little different.
any one else fitted front fogs? as ive never seen another sti with them.
also complete kit was only 235 all in which include switch, relay and colour coded covers. very reasonable for original subaru parts from main dealer.

Why waste money on fogs, which do nothing? You'd have been better investing in some DRIVING lights, which actually make it so you can see at night.........and look better than fogs too

That's because they're useless, really, complete waste of space and weight. Unless you live somewhere prone to loads of murk and fog (Newcastle, for instance), there'll probably be less than one day every couple of years when they'll be any use to you at all.

Unless of course you're the type who drives round with them on all the time.

If you want to improve your lighting, a driving lamp kit is pretty much the only thing worth doing.

My goodness didn't a young Tubby have some real shite ideas, and where is this fog lamp kit now I wonder?

Hidden under some Monster graphics no doubt...

Another blast from the past.

I don't see what's wrong with those foglights, they're hardly monster energy stickers and a fake roof vent.

I had PIAAs on my Blobeye they looked sweeeet.

That dump valve thread IS funny though

To show that progression of Tubbs, how he started off to how he is now.

Can you imagine the cr@p he would inflict upon himself now if he was responding to his earlier posts?

And of course for a bit of fun, don't worry nothing nasty going on I know him quite well now and have met him, he knows it will just be a bit of banter.

OK - fair enough.

I can quite easily imagine what he's write.

Infact, what he should do now is reply to his posts
