Wow.....this brings back memory's! As a single very young man in 1985 I bought a brand new Audi Quattro Turbo in Black. I can't begin to describe the excitement I felt owning this beast with it's amazing handling and performance of the day Until then I had only driven rear wheel drive cars, I couldn't believe the grip in the rain. I don't think my Type-R would get close to it being so light and does tend to slide if you push it around the bends in the rain. I went on to own one of the first 'Wale tale' Cossworth's and probably one of the very first Sapphire Cossworths, all though very fast...... not a patch on the Audi's build quality & handling.

Remember these going through Clumber on the RAC. Fantastic memories and never to be repeated. How rallying has changed from the largest spectator sport in the world to the boring WRC that it is today
My all time favourite car.

Proper motorsport, and the real inventors of drifting!! lol.

How much would I give to go and see rallying as spectacular as that.

I remember when I was young in the early eighties following Hannu Mikola with the course doctor at one of the Scottish rallies, simply awesome!!!!!!!

Who else would have liked to have seen Colin McRae in Group B back in the day? His Dad was great in the Manta 400

Talk about coincidence, I was just watching the same exact movie as the op posted, all the way over here in Japan with some rallying buddies

Also stedee, Loeb may look boring, but one things for sure... he is definitely not slow
