Hi all, went to retrieve the kids from school and imediately noticed the car was missing so gave it a bit of oxo and it would not boost above 0.5 bar and you could feel the car really holding back. Whats up......

 

what age and model mate?

Hi mate its an 04 sti ppp (uk) with a few mods 348/344

 

as above maf or plugs/coil pack is the cel light on or not?

 

could be any no. of sensors causing that problem get someone to plug in and read any fault codes or look at the data

 

no eml on or no other lights......very weird

 

0.5 bar, it sounds as though it's in limp mode, so it could be any of your sensors to be honest, would get it on the select monitor if i was you

sorry scoobyboy just seen your post, great minds think alike!

 

It could be the arm on actuator come loose on the turbo so it will only run 0.5bar
Take heat shield off and see if arm is flapping about.
