I know this has been done a many times before, but with search down, how do you remove the Side Repeaters on an MY01?
I've managed to take the orange reflectors off by pushing them upwards. These are now being painted and I'm looking for some blue side repeaters. I know GG do them but does anyone know where else I can get some to fit. Noticed Halfords do some but not sure if these fit.
Thanks

The spring on the indicator mount can be quite stiff sometimes, and need a good push forwards against it.
Alternatively, they may have been put in back to front.....

Hi Kev
Easy mate, first take a look at this piccy
this is the o/s so the front of the car is to the right.
You can see that the spring part is towards the front of the car, it won't have been fitted the wrong way as they only fit one way, its the same on the n/s with the spring to the front edge.
Push the light unit towards the front of the car(firm pressure needed)it will only move a couple of mm
While its in this position, ease out the back edge of the light unit(it has a lip on it that is hooked behind the metal hence the need to push the light forwards to clear the metal work)
Hey presto the light is out!
Explaining it on here is 1000 times harder than doing it...
I can take them out in less than 1 second
Hope that helps

Well spotted dicky ticker!
That wins you a prize of a shiny new £1 coin...just send £1.99 to cover p&p
Had just been in the shower after getting home from work...
I was also wearing pale blue adidas shorts and nothing on my top half...not a petty sight
Now is that true dedication to scoobynet or what?
