Installing Defi's
I've just taken delivery of some DEFI racers
On inspection they haven't come with the "U" bracket used to fit them to a flush dash facade?
Am I missing something here? can these be purchased elsewhere?
The cheap and cheerful motor meter's came with them...
Or do you use the pod housing to grip them in place?

I've got 5 Defis. They are fitted, three in a central pod, two in an A-pillar pod. NONE of them came with any brackets, but they DID each have a single pod and a strip of thin foam which sticks around the outside of the gauge, just under the bezel, so that they are a tight fit in the pods. Push fit only.
Mine are push fit without that strip, as I sanded the pods to be a grip-fit. Each gauge is RETAINED, to stop it rotating or being vibrated out, with a 0.5cm blob of silicone between it's back face and the pod interior surface.
TBH, even my 3-gauge pod is retained on top of the dash the same way. You can't see the silicone, but it's secure.
