I dont trust PayPal AT ALL... I've had more than one instance where they've done a "Limited account access" on me, even though I'm a totally legitimate buyer/seller. On occasion it took six MONTHS to get £130 out of the account, as it took ages to prove where the money came from.

PayPal are, in my personal opinion, crooked as the day is long.

Paypal are shocking,....

As for bank transfers taking 3 days - most banks these days subscribe to the Faster Payment service, meaning they are USUALLY instant even across different banks.

THe alternative to a bank transfer is to walk to any branch of the receivers bank and pay the cash in - instantly available to the seller.

I'm just finalising my merchant account for my business...

Paypal fees 3.4% plus 20p per transaction on CC or Debit cards
HSBC - 1.59% on CC and 26p on Debit Cards....
HOW MUCH PROFIT ARE PAYPAL MAKING!!
