potential car help
hi im new here i currently drive a honda civic 1.6 vtec sport(ep2)
but im thinking off getting somthing better. i cant afford the insurance of a civic type r but i want somthing thats faster than what i have now
ive been looking at the impreza 2.0r sport 2006-2007
can any one tell me if this car is a worth while upgrade
also whats it like in terms of perfromance
and also is there a tuning scene for this car i.e aftermarket parts & moddin

I wouldn't even try to get extra performance out of any Sport. You have to spend a fortune to get a couple of extra ponies out of it. The best use of any money you would spend on mods is to put it towards the cost of insurance of a turbo.

surley theres some potential in the engine its 2litre quad cam i mean other than induction kit and full custom exhaust from manifold to backbox theres gotta be other stuff that can be done surely
