There I was working under a car which was on a two post lift. I was removing all the rear suspension etc for a rear end body repair, everything was going fine untill I unbolted the fuel tank at which point the car took a nosedive off the ramp, smashed into the floor and the propped itself against the ramp! No body was hurt but the car is a total loss, ****!

Hi
This was a real life incident
It was a Ford
It was a two post lft rather than one that you drive onto, we generally leave the hand brake off to make it easier to position the car plus you may want to check the brakes etc which requires a free spinning wheel.
Finally, does anyone know why my topics seem to disapear, I had to do a search to find this again, Moray, Stuart?
Cheers Bob
