Default New Owner - Queries

Hi All,

My name is Dan and I bought a std 2006 WRX STi Spec-D yesterday and thought that I would join your excellent forum.

Overall I am really pleased with the car and it is great fun to drive.

I have a few queries that I would appreciate your help with,

On the drivers side lower panel there is a coin tray with a keypad in it, what is this for ?? Cant seem to find any info in the handbook.

The is a slight gearbox whine at low speeds, is this normal and part of the 6spd box and 4x4 ?? It sounds kinda like a straight cut gearbox but much much quieter. Above 30mph there is no noise.

Any help much appreciated.

Im looking forward to driving the Impreza and wish I'd bought one years ago

The keypad is for when your fob doesnt work there should be a 4 digit code number in with your owners pack m8
