Which would you choose ?
purchasing some new wheels next week and undecided about tyres have a budget of around £350 for tyres so i have a choice of kumo's at £79 each, falkens at £74 or firestone at £97 slightly over budget i know but not as much as goodyear eagle f1's at £117 each these prices are fitted and balanced would prefer the f1's but spent enough already any ideas .

I have used Falken FK452's on a previous Impreza and I found them to be a really good tyre whether it be in the dry or wet and they were certainly a better tyre than the standard Bridgestone tyres that were on my Hawkeye WRX.
They may be a slightly cheaper tyre but that does not mean that they are rubbish and they certainly wear well as well.

Have you looked into Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas? £84 each, so come in under budget, and everyone on here seems to be raving about them. These are what I'm going for next, purely on the recommendations and reviews from people on here.

eagel f1's for me are far too soft and wear quickly and often unevenly
khumos and falkens ok imo as a budget option.
its funny 5-6 years ago vredestien were the laughing stock in the tyre trade, seemed to have turned that rounfd with the reviews i read on here.

I will probably get slated for this but here goes, when i bought my car it had Nexens fitted how long they had been on there i dont know but 20 months later they are still going strong.Never had a problem with them but saying that i dont drive it like its stolen.I think i will get a couple of months out of them then i will be giving Falkens a try.Yes they are a budget tyre but front end grip, rear grip.wet road grip dont really concern me.These days with the amount of traffic on the roads plus speed cameras, vans etc how often can we drive to our tyre limits?
So if anyone knows where i can get Falkens fitted close to Tewkesbury let me know.
