Default Gauging interest, How much is it worth?

Hi all,

I know there is a lot of these threads but Im not sure how much to advertise it for??

Its a UK Turbo (X reg, yr 2000) Its done 70,500k but had engine changed at 65k, I had a V6 sti engine fitted (which had done 55k but i cant verify that)
4 previous owners (last owner was a lady) Im the 5th owner and have owned it since Feb 09, Im 32 so no young boy racer

So because it had an sti engine fitted I wanted sti power, this was the only reason for modding it (Seemed a shame to have the sti engine and not use it)

So mods done so far :-

V3 sti top mount (fitted when engine was fitted)
Apexi power fc with commander
TD05 16G
Full 3" decat
Unequal length Headers
Cobra Race tube tailpipe
Walbro Fuel pump
Ngkpr7b Spark plugs
Standard Recirc dump valve (HKS SSQV was on when i bought it)
Green panel filter
Apexi turbo timer (not used but fitted)
Bosch Silver top battery
Sti front strut brace
Boost, oil temp gauge in a carbon A pillar pod.
Remapped by Andrew Carr (approx 320 -330) not been dyno'd yet.
17" oz alloys (superturismos I think?) Just been refurbed and painted white. (the last owner had these fitted)
Sti 6 Spoiler fitted (not a copy)
Had a Viper Cat 1 alarm fitted (got certificate with it)

Got 10 months mot on it, (Sailed through its last one just needed a number plate bulb)

Recently had new rear discs fitted
Gearbox oil changed
New Fuel filter fitted
Oil and filter changed every 3000 miles or less (millers cfs 10/60)
New maf fitted
2 New tyres (other two tyres are like new)

Bodywork is excellent for a 10 year old car, Drivers door got a few car park dings (would come out with dentec) Just not got round to it yet.
Bonnet and front bumper has got stone chips.

I wash this everyweek (2 bucket method ) and polish it every other week (Looks really well when its just been polished and there is no rust on it)

Interior is in great condition, no holes, cigarette burns, tears, (Seats need a clean tho), Drivers seat is still in one piece (bolster not damaged, think thats what its called?) I dont smoke so car smells nice and fresh carpets are hoovered everyweek ( Im obsessed with cleaning my cars )

Now the only bad point (this was next on my list of things to do, change gearbox)

The gearbox whines, but doesnt seem to affect performance, car still pulls and drives excellently.

Since owning the car it has been extremely well looked after, all the big mods have been done professionally (local subaru specialist, receipts to prove) Servicable parts, oil etc, have been done by myself (got receipts for the parts I've bought) so I got all receipts for work done from since i've owned it.

Its got Receipts and Some service history from previous owners also.

Reason for thinking of selling, well I've really loved every minute of this car, It puts a big smile on my face everytime i drive it, But that is only usually at weekends,(I've only done 6000 mile since owning it) I feel that somebody else could get a lot more enjoyment out of this car than myself. It seems like a lot of car just to be sat outside my house all week (and an expensive one at that, ha ha) And to be honest I really cant stop buying things for the car, my shopping list just keeps getting bigger (its true what people say about the modding bug, its very addictive) So am gonna look for something a bit more economical and smaller engined

A few pics of outside the car

Thanks for looking

Anybody interested drop me a PM

Have a look on pistonheads for what 2000 year turbo's go for, but price in the 3.5-4k range, adding the STI engine wont really get you any more money, they can all run at 350bhp, after that they are all on borrowed time due to sharing the same rods so you could have kept your original engine and bought some really nice brakes

If you have aircon ensure you advertise the fact, in summer it makes it a more desirable car

I only got the sti engine fitted because the engine that was in it originally, started with the dreaded bottom end knocking! Otherwise I would of left it as it were (maybe should of put that in the first post)

I'd love some nice big brakes but as its stood still for most of week I cant justify spending nice big brake money

Thanks for the reply tho

id say around 2500, maybe less due to the gearbox issues, would put me off buying it if i thought it was about to let go.
