my bottom end has finaly given in !!!!!!!!!
right guys the bottom end on my p reg classic waggon has finaly given up on me ! ( i know it was only a matter of time lol ) im now on the look out for a new engine , i see there are plenty of red top STI units for sale on ebay , can anyone tell me which is the best engine to buy as im not to familiar with the engine coding numbers eg EJ 20 etc !

Depends how much you want to spend but most use this as a good time to drop in a forged 2.0 or a 2.5 I would suggest speaking to someone like David at Api as inamorata sure they will have something to suit your needs albiet a used wrx or sti lump up to a fully race prepared block
