Default advice pls!

ok had my o5 wrx booked into to get tein springs fited by local garage, but hes jus rang me sayin he cant do it as one of the locknuts on the strut top needs sum sort of key to remove it, aparantley it has 3 holes in and he thinks its a specialist subaru tool? Any one heard of this

turns out the rear shocks are kyb's any ideas??

Yes you do need a tool IIRC, however you can do it using a open headed rachet and an allen key.

Or, a socket held by some mole grips and pop the allen key through the hole.

Have a search on NASIOC adn you'll fine some well documneted instructions and the tools required.

Note, for standard shocks, note sure about kyb's.
