Default Breaking Classics and the parts values

Anyone else broken up any classics recently as i am thinking of breaking my one!

Just after clues on the value of parts now as its been a while since i broke one! headgasket has gone and its got a dented door so it does not seam worth fixing!

So what do you recon the bits are worth?

ok hehe! shame tho.

My mate MAY want some bits like FMIC, strut brace, gauge pod, induction kit, rear spoiler if the price is right but I can't promise anything. Mailed him this post.

Prices - I think the floor has dropped out of old import scoobies...and their parts!

I'll guess... I only bought used bits not stripped a car!

Rear high level spoiler - £100-£150 ??
Gauge pod - £30
FMIC - £100 ish ( new Hybrids are only £280 )
Induction kit .. dunno, £20 ??
Uprated wastegate capsule ( is it a forge one ? ) ?? - £80 ish
Dump valve - depends on make - HKS SSQV £100 others less?
Ally bonnet ( is it ?? ) - £100-£150 + ??
Strut brace - £100+ if STi, maybe £50 if not?
Ally water header tank, £40 ??
Wheels - £100 - £250 depends on condition and tyres tread left?

Brakes - 2 pots? £50 ?? or £200 ish for 4 pots inc good discs and pads???

Gearbox - £200 + depends on condition, upto £500 +

Lots of the little bits will find fair money if you do break it up, even the bits I used to get for my classic like air vents, dash trim, boot trim, cigar lighter, etc were £5 here, £10 there, £20 the other .. so you may well ( if enough classic people are interested .. else you have half a car in the way! )
