Could be the rear shocks mate, common problem on that year had it with my 03 Jdm sti !

More than likely your rear struts as the newage are prone for rear strut failure!

If your car is still under warranty then they should replace as part of the warranty as I had mine replaced under warranty.

i thought maybe ARB bushes.. any idea of how easy to change or to see if thats what gone on it?

and if it is the rear shocks, will the need replacing?

i need to do a cambelt and big service

Can have them stripped and refurbed mate but tbh your better off upgrading or replacing the struts :-)

Yes u would need to replace, might pick a set off ebay but they might be knockin aswell, many people upgarde and go for coilovers all round!

You've just got to wonder if you would be wasting your time and money swapping like for like ... those on ebay could knock just as much and you have been through the effort of swapping.

What are they new?

I think they are £170 a side for the srut only, they maybe more.
