Default Ferarri ???

Came up behind this at a set of lights,he did not seem to want to impress,so got me thinking,no usual howl you get from the prancing horse,so what could it be,the guy did not try to evade me,just was constantly checking his rear view,a mate if mine has give me a clue as to the ID of the car which was a shock,does anyone else think they know ?

I agree, possibly an MR2 with the Ferrari shell. Didn't Ferrari kick up a stink about them when they were featured on Top Gear??

OR maybe he was just out for a casual drive/perv ?

Looks like a 355

* Horsepower @ rpm: 380 @ 8250
* HP/liter: 109 hp/l
* Torque @ rpm: 268 @ 6000
* 0-60 mp/h: 4.6 s
* 0–100 km/h: 4.7 s
* 0–160 km/h: 10.8 s
* Quarter Mile: 12.9 s
* 0–1000 m: 23.7 s
* Top speed: 186 mph (299 km/h)/183 mph (295 km/h)

You'd be OK till he get's some space to stretch his legs...

The MR2's done well with the 355 kit actually don't look too bad, just a little narrow and the interior and brakes generally give them away to the untrained eye. I remember my younger sis had a 20 year old lad at her work with one, she could not understand how he could afford one until I told her it was prob an MR2.

When the Z3 came out they used to do a kit for the MX5 to convert it to one, again done well not too bad for a kit car, done badly then another story!!

Make your own mind up.

just to state,I was not all over him,give him plenty room,without spooking him,just thought his behaviour was a bit nervous,as if I was a possible cop and he had nicked the the car. just snapped the pick when he was not looking.

even if it was a mr2 , could of still gave you a run for your money , i had a mr2 twin entry turbo running 400bhp and that went some to say the least

as for the kits all the lenght wideness etc etc are not that far out a few mm thats all and if done right are hard to tell esp with 350+ bhp
