Default Blobeye STI PPP help

hi guys!

just went to test drive an 03 plate STI ppp. car drove well, but slightly pulled to the left - car has sat in a while might have been tyre pressures.

the car has a subaru service history BUT hasnt been serviced since 2007 - the car has only coverd 9000 miles since then so i no its due but not sure if there will be loads of problems!

ALSO there was one of these fitted..

http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...oducts_id=1516

Any link to the car ?

The Defi controller links sensors to the guages.......there should have been a bank of defi guages visible

If it was pulling under acceleration it might be torque steer

mines doesnt do that, when i got mines it had the wrong size of wheels on it and it was all over the place, understeered like hell. maybe you need the wheel alignment.

mines had 122pcd wheels on 114pcd hubs

or worst case scenario was it could be crashed and repaired privatly which would justify the gap without history.

post a couple of pics to see if anyone knows the car

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-SUBARU-IM...item20b0dbc4e3 this is the car.. ive done a check and it says no extensive damage. i think the guy who owns it just dosnt no all that much about subaru's or lost intrest in it!

it does it when driving.. you dont have to yank the steering wheel constanlty to correct it u can just feel it veering off to the left.

the front left tyre has a lot more tread than the front right. and it pulls to the left. i looked at the gaps between the bonnet and wings etc.. seemed even aka no repair work

Could be a worn lower ball joint bush. Usually the nearside goes first due to grids and pot holes more so on that side.

ahh im really in a flap guys!! been getting some quotes on service. the last service it had was fluids filters and sparks etc so they have only done 9k, i dont do alot of milage so that could wait another month or 2, but the cambelt is my biggest concern.. im looking around £400 that about rite??

also these defi gauges look so confusing with the control box.. how would i no what to set them to?

what about the fact that most roads slope to the kerb for drainage.

Leave them alone.... Defi manual is on-line if needed.

If you are serious get the alignment checked and have them tell you what is out ?

Servicing is up to you.

Mine gets oil every six months regardless.
