I am looking to purchase my first scooby and am looking at spending between 9-10K, which includes a part-ex (MR2 93K-top condition). Because of the part-ex I am going to have to buy trade, unless I can find a suitable private deal wanting an MR2 (Slim chance unfortunately).

Has anybody got any advice of the best places to go to guarantee a good buy (uk model) - I live in the Reading area and with my limited engine knowledge I don't want to be riped off, and thought a bit of advice from those in the know might help.

Any advice much appreciated.
